EAP - Employee Assistance Programme
In order to support you in obtaining a healthy work/life balance, you'll have access to a qualified counsellor through our EAP. The EAP is in strict confidence to help with major life issues, including stress, debt and bereavement, as well as loads of information, advice and guidance
M Reward Points
M reward is Meridian’s reward and recognition platform, where you can spend any reward points, which can be awarded as an acknowledgement or thank you for achievements or going the extra mile.

Talent Spotter Scheme
Receive £500 when you refer a new recruit and they pass probation and receive a further £500 on their 1st anniversary. To qualify, employees must make a referral by sending the CV to the hiring manager and copying in HR. Hiring managers are excluded from the scheme when recruiting for their own roles.
REC membership
As part of our commitment to maintaining high standards within the recruitment industry, all new employees are automatically enrolled as a member of the REC which is subsided by the company. REC provides a variety of industry resources. Following successful completion of your probation and as part of your professional development, you will be enrolled to complete the most appropriate REC qualification in line with your role in the company.

Dress for your day
All employees are permitted to take part in Dress for Your Day, which allows you the flexibility within certain parameters to choose what is appropriate to wear each day. All those taking part are currently contributing a minimum monthly charitable donation of £1, to Meridian's current charity partner, the Lighthouse Club.
Charity day off per quarter
At Meridian, we offer one day per quarter for our team to go and provide support to a local charity. Whether this be volunteering at your local foodbank, answering phone calls for a charity hotline, or helping out with local groups for young people, our team have four days a year that can be utilised to support their local community.
The Lighthouse Club Charity
Meridian’s nominated charity is Lighthouse Club, a construction industry charity that provides emotional, physical and financial well-being support to the construction industry and their families. The Lighthouse Club provides support to construction workers through:
- Mental health first aid training and subsequent support
- Funding the construction industry helpline that is live 24/7
- Direct financial support to people in need
