Diverse Values

Meridian offers equal opportunities for all applicants and embraces female talent across all areas of the business. Our workforce consists of 65% female employees, 20% are females in a team leader’s role or above, and 30% of our Senior Leadership Team is also female.

We support talents from LGBT communities and provide regular training to our employees to ensure we are consistently respectful and inclusive.

We recruit talents from different cultural and ethnic groups to embrace our diversity. Everyone is welcome in the Meridian family.

We partnered with the Latte Lounge to provide menopause support and guidance across the business and delivered training to our employees to raise awareness about menopause and perimenopause. Considering that 29% of our workforce are females over the age 40, we have also created an internal Menopause Support Group for women to support each other, learn from each other and understand how we can support others outside of Meridian.

We champion skills, abilities and attitudes and are proud to support parents offering flexible working and part-time opportunities to fit around them.

Disability Confident Employer

Our employees received disability awareness training and have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to remove barriers for disabled candidates, advise clients how to work in inclusive ways and lead by example as an inclusive recruitment agency.

Stronger Together

We are a registered partner of Stronger Together which provides us with training, resources, business services and collaborative programmes.

Armed Forces

We support the employment of veterans, recognising military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process as well as the employment of Service spouses and partners. 

Clear Voice

We have partnered with Clear Voice, a Language Service which provides us with interpretation services for over 200 languages that we can use if we are concerned about a worker’s welfare or to prevent the risk of exploitation.

We recognise that January can be a tough month for many employees with the transition back to work from the holiday season so in 2023, we created a calendar of activities, treats, competitions and prizes to keep our staff engaged and motivated throughout the month of January.

Our main event of the year is our Annual Conference & Awards Dinner, which this year was held on the 3rd of March at the world-renowned Belfry Hotel.


Hot chocolate days, ice cream days, pizza days, team lunches and more.

A healthy work-life balance is important to us – we believe that our staff shouldn’t miss special moments with their kids so we allow them to take time off work to attend the events such as kids plays or sports days. We have 22% of our staff hybrid working along with 19% who work remotely.

We get one day a quarter to participate in charitable activities within the local community and even come together to support charities as our team did when climbing Snowdon last summer.
